A Time To Reflect...

I feel like I never take enough time to reflect on the things in my life that I am so thankful for. Every year I vow to make a project about what I am thankful for that particular Thanksgiving and I never do, maybe this year I'll finally do so... with this list:

Right now, I am thankful for...
-- My amazing husband who words can hardly describe
-- My supportive family that I only recently realized was better than most other families out there ;)
-- My successful and ever-growing business which continues to thrive in this economy
-- My animals, especially my rescues who are not only ALIVE, but are living wonderful lives
-- My beautiful home and thoughtful neighbors
-- My close friends that always make me smile
-- The fact that I live where I live, I love this country, this State, and my hometown of Detroit (but I love my current suburb of Plymouth too!)
-- All the wonderful and amazing memories I'm so fortunate to have

Whether its Thanksgiving today where you live or not, take a moment to think about what YOU are thankful for... you might be surprised to realize you have a lot of things to be grateful for. Happy Thanksgiving!!!

Busy Busy!

I've got all sorts of things going on these days (on top of work which is slammed AND my cousin getting married in 6 weeks AND the holidays!)... I've started (I say, "started" loosely of course) the December Dailies album over at WeScrap that Jacquelin is putting on for us! Looks pretty cool, I just hope I have enough to talk about... I do kind of wonder if this is more of a project for people with kids; I mean, we do a lot during the month of December, but not something every single day haha! I'm sure I'll find stuff to fill it. I may tweek it so my focus isn't so much on the "daily" happenings, but rather that happenings themselves.

I also recently received the December kit for Scrapbooking Supplies R Us and its packed with stuff!!! I haven't had a moment to dive into it yet, but I should have a good amount of time this weekend to work with it. I can't wait for the forum to go live, the girls over there are saying its looking good for the beginning of December! Yay!!

OH, and check out this:

Sorry, its impossible to get a decent shot of this so late at night, but this is what I got in my Spread Some Cheer card from Victoria!! WOW, right?!?! Don't be jealous ;) No seriously, I KNOW I got the best Secret Santa hahaha! Look at what she STUFFED into that envelope, crazy (and oh so sweet) right?! =) I sent out my card today to my Secret Santa and Victoria inspired me to do the same thing (put it all into one 5x7 envelope rather than those little card ones). This was super fun, I don't know how I missed it last year!!

Before I go, here is a sneak peek of that top secret project I told you about before... just a tease really! ;)

I love me some FALL! =)

Sorry I haven't been around much this week, I've just been busy with work and in my (little bit) of free time, I've been trying to enjoy this gorgeous fall... its my absolute favorite season. Sweater weather rocks!! ;)

My uncle came over yesterday and started cutting my counter-tops for my office. I'm very lucky to have a whole room dedicated to my crafts, BUT I moved out and moved into our dining room and have been there for a YEAR now (humorously pathetic in my honest opinion! LOL)... just because I needed more space and more functionality. Well, I've just gotten SO sick of having to put ALL my stuff away each time we have guests over or need the dining room, so I asked my uncle to line all of my office walls with counter-top. Simple, yes, but I have a 5 or 10 year plan going on here with regards to my spare bedrooms and my future babies. Long and short, I don't want to be in this office forever (I want to be in my bigger spare bedroom, but that will be a nursery in the next year or so), but I NEED to get out of the dining room LOL!! He is coming back next week to finish it up... so that's exciting, huh?! I'll finally have space for a friend to come over and scrap, any takers?! =)
